Liverpool has just completed the signing of 19yrs Star Boy who has more goals than Lionel Messi Last Season. How did the manage get him for Β£8m π±π±π±, Liverpool first summer signing
Reports from South America indicate that Liverpool is showing interest in a promising young player from overseas.
According to La Tercera, the Reds are preparing to offer between $8 million and $10 million (Β£6.3 million-Β£7.9 million) for FC Midtjylland’s winger Dario Osorio, along with a future sell-on percentage for the 20-year-old.
Ove Pedersen, the Danish clubβs deputy sporting director, confirmed there is interest in Osorio but did not provide any additional details regarding potential bids.
Osorio, who transferred to Midtjylland from Chile last year, has had an impressive debut season in Denmark, recording eight goals and two assists in 24 matches.
The versatile winger, capable of playing on either side, has already earned eight senior caps for Chile and is part of the provisional squad for the upcoming Copa America.
If Liverpool proceeds with the acquisition of Osorio this summer, he would likely be considered a squad player initially, with a possible loan to a significant European league to further his development.
Despite Liverpool being linked with numerous players ahead of the transfer window, signing Osorio might not be a top priority for FSG given their current attacking options.
Nevertheless, Osorio presents an intriguing and cost-effective prospect who has shown a promising adaptation to European football.
