Liverpool and Manchester United are poised to intervene if Real Madrid’s negotiations with Lille for Leny Yoro hit a snag, according to Martyn Ziegler of The Times.
The 18-year-old French center-back, who is also on PSG’s radar, could be acquired for approximately £50 million.
Ziegler mentioned, “Liverpool and Manchester United are ready to act if Real Madrid’s pursuit of defensive talent Leny Yoro falls through.
The Lille center-back is seen as a generational talent and is expected to be available this summer for a fee around £50 million.”
Yoro’s contract with Lille runs until 2025, and the club’s president, Olivier Letang, has already sanctioned his transfer this summer.
Liverpool is also scouting other defenders such as Willian Pacho and Waldemar Anton.
