Chelsea star has refused to sign a new contract at the club in a major blow to after the appointment of Enzo Maresca as Chelsea new manager

Chelsea’s first game will be at home against the defending champions, Manchester City. The Blues will take on one of the toughest tasks in sport when they formally start life at Stamford Bridge under newly hired head coach Enzo Maresca: defeating Man City.
Maresca is going to encounter some pretty tough obstacles over the season. And since Chelsea may compete in Europe once more the following season, a packed schedule might be a major factor in the Italian’s first season with the team.
But for Chelsea to advance to the Europa Conference League group stage, they must win a two-leg play-off match. The first leg of the tie is set for August 22 and the second leg is set for August 29. The draw has not yet been made.
In the unlikely event that Chelsea wins the play-off match, they may have an extremely busy December. In English football, December is notorious for presenting obstacles, but should the Blues go to the Carabao Cup quarterfinal, they may have to play as many as nine games in December.
As of right now, though anything may change, Chelsea’s current schedule is as follows: on December 14, they host Brentford in the Premier League; on December 18, they could play a Conference League encounter; and on December 19, they might play in a Carabao Cup quarterfinal. These are tentative dates, but if this turns out to be the case, it will need some major scheduling maneuvering to accommodate every fixture.
Chelsea may have a December like this:
07/12/24 – Premier League away to Tottenham
Conference League match on December 12, 24
Brentford at home on 14/12/24 (Premier League)
Carabao Cup quarterfinal on 18/12/24
Conference League match on 19/12/24
21/12/24 – Premier League away at Everton
26/12/24 – Premier League home match against Fulham
29/12/24 – Premier League away at Ipswich Town
