“Him and Erik ten Hag planned it all along. He didn’t just left. That’s why he haven’t joined any club yet. Now he is back to help the club” – David de Gea turns down shock Shocking move to a Premier League Club return as he finally makes a shocking move back to the club. Even the players are shocked but Ten Hag wasn’t. No one saw this move coming 😳😳 Welcome back 😳🥹❤️

David de Gea recently turned down an opportunity to join a Premier League club during the January transfer window, according to a new report. The Spanish goalkeeper, who departed Manchester United last summer after 12 successful years, is still a free agent. Despite being linked to a potential move to Saudi Arabia, De Gea has not yet signed a deal in the region.

Nottingham Forest showed interest in signing the experienced goalkeeper, hoping to secure him for the rest of the season as their first-choice option. However, the 33-year-old rejected their short-term proposal, preferring to wait for a more suitable opportunity.

Forest’s search for a reliable goalkeeper continued beyond De Gea. They also considered acquiring Aaron Ramsdale from Arsenal. Ramsdale, having lost his starting position to David Raya, was a target before Forest ultimately signed Matz Sels from Strasbourg. Sels joined on deadline day for £5.1 million, with a contract extending three and a half years.

With Sels now on board, Nottingham Forest’s goalkeeping lineup includes Matt Turner, Wayne Hennessey, and Odysseas Vlachodimos. De Gea’s refusal leaves him available in the market for a new club. Although the transfer window has closed, De Gea can still join any team as a free agent.

During his remarkable stint at Manchester United, De Gea played 545 matches across all competitions, playing a crucial role in the club’s achievements. He also earned 45 caps for Spain, highlighting his extensive experience and skill. His impressive career makes him a highly attractive candidate for clubs in need of a seasoned goalkeeper.

As De Gea searches for a new team, his wealth of experience and consistent high-level performance ensure he remains an appealing prospect for many clubs. His decision to decline Nottingham Forest’s offer indicates he is carefully considering his next move, looking for an opportunity that better aligns with his career and personal goals.
