“The fans have to know about this Man who doesn’t want us to progress for years since Sir Alex Ferguson left and This is why they don’t want us to sign him, a lot of forces are fighting against Manchester United because if we get the best players, we will go back in winning the leagues and trophies again, they preferred He should to go to Man City instead of United”-Erik Ten Hag reveals that Manchester United have NOT GIVEN UP on signing Jean-Clair Todibo as he exposes the set of boards who don’t want Manchester United to progress. “There are legalities and arguments going on behind-the-scenes as Manchester United plans to Sue this group of members”

Reports from French media indicate that Nice has rejected a significant €35 million offer from West Ham for their centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo. Recently, Todibo has attracted substantial interest, particularly from Manchester United. This interest intensified after Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s INEOS purchased a minority stake in Nice.

INEOS’s acquisition, given their ownership of both clubs, initially appeared to ease Todibo’s potential transfer to Manchester United. However, complications arose when UEFA intervened, citing regulations that prevent transfers between clubs with the same owner if both qualify for European competitions, such as the Europa League. This intervention disrupted the near-complete transfer arrangements between Manchester United and Nice.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe publicly expressed his dissatisfaction with UEFA’s decision, noting the peculiarity that Todibo could transfer to any Premier League club except Manchester United. In response, there is speculation that INEOS might challenge UEFA’s ruling at the Court of Arbitration for Sport to facilitate the transfer.

According to L’Equipe, Nice’s rejection of West Ham’s €35 million bid underscores their firm stance, possibly indicating they seek a higher offer, around €40 million, which is significantly above Todibo’s Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €22.8 million. Meanwhile, HITC suggests that discussions between Manchester United and Nice are still ongoing.

This situation remains dynamic, with uncertainties about whether Manchester United will legally challenge UEFA’s ruling.
