Liverpool Star who was loaned has been given a 10-match ban from football after what he did in their last match ๐Ÿšจ There’s no way he is getting away with that ๐Ÿ˜ž

Liverpool’s rising star, Owen Beck, currently on loan at Blackburn Rovers, found himself at the center of controversy during a goalless Lancashire derby, after being sent off for his reaction to an alleged bite by Preston North Endโ€™s Milutin Osmajic.

Blackburn Rovers manager John Eustace expressed disappointment with the officiating, stating, โ€œOwen has a clear bite mark on his neck, but the referee missed it,โ€ in an interview with BBC Radio Lancashire (via BBC Sport).

The incident has sparked comparisons to former Liverpool forward Luis Suarez, who notoriously bit Chelseaโ€™s Branislav Ivanovic back in April 2013.

The FA is expected to review the footage to assess if Osmajicโ€™s actions warrant disciplinary action. In the case of Suarez, he was handed a 10-game suspension, and Osmajic could face a similar fate. Thereโ€™s also a chance that Beckโ€™s three-match ban could be overturned if the review clears his involvement.
