Erik ten Hag is FUMING ๐Ÿ˜ก over the media’s role in killing a beloved English football tradition! ๐Ÿด Managers used to chat over a cup of tea after matches, but now media commitments are taking over! ๐Ÿ“ธ Ten Hag thinks it’s a big loss for the game and fans alike! ๐Ÿ˜ค

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has voiced his concerns about how media obligations are disrupting a long-standing tradition in English football. In the past, Premier League managers would often meet after matches to share a casual conversation over tea or wine, discussing both football and other aspects of life. However, these informal post-match chats have become much less common.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Ten Hag was asked if he still meets with fellow Premier League managers. He expressed disappointment, noting that media duties now consume much of the time managers used to spend together.

“We still meet up occasionally. It used to be a cherished tradition in English football, but with all the media responsibilities, itโ€™s fading away. It’s unfortunate because it was something special,” Ten Hag remarked.

His comments reflect the growing burden on managers to fulfill media expectations, which often overshadows the friendly post-match interactions that were once a hallmark of the sport. For many, the decline of this tradition symbolizes the increasing commercialization of football and the growing demands on its key figures.
