Not good news for Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk after been booked last night following a dangerous tackle on Hungary player. Liverpool fears Superstar would be BANNED following his conversation with the referee. FIFA is investigating the situation and possible banning might follow 😭😭😱

Netherlands coach Ronald Koeman has chosen not to call up a replacement for suspended captain Virgil van Dijk, 33, ahead of their crucial upcoming match against Germany on Monday.
Van Dijk was sent off during the 1-1 Nations League draw with Hungary after receiving two yellow cards within three minutes. The first card was given for dissent while protesting a foul on Donyell Malen, and the second was for a more straightforward offense.
Koeman expressed surprise over the first yellow card, commenting, “I believed captains were permitted to speak with referees. The foul on Malen should have been a red card.” He noted that while Van Dijk’s second yellow was unfortunate, the defender accepted responsibility for his actions.
Koeman confirmed he won’t be expanding the squad ahead of their match against Germany, who lead Group A3 in the Nations League with seven points, two ahead of the Netherlands.
This match holds significant weight for the Dutch, as they could either take the lead in their group or fall five points behind with only two games remaining.
Despite the draw in Budapest, Koeman felt satisfied with his team’s performance after Denzel Dumfries scored a late equalizer, even with Van Dijk absent. He praised their determination, stating, “We fought hard, defended well, and earned a deserved
result.”
