The face of Manchester United is expected to leave in January, with three European giants intrigued. Things aren’t improving under Erik ten Hag at Man United, and once the January transfer window opens again for business, whilst there’s unlikely to be a mass exodus, one of the faces of the club, Marcus Rashford, could leave.

Under Erik ten Hag’s management, Manchester United has shown little improvement, and while a mass exodus in the upcoming January transfer window seems unlikely, Marcus Rashford may be on the verge of an exit.
Rashford, soon to turn 27, is approaching the age where many players hit their peak performance. Despite ten Hag’s previous comparison of Rashford to Kylian Mbappé, the forward’s recent form — just 12 goals in 58 matches (according to Transfermarkt) — hasn’t lived up to expectations, making the manager’s praise appear premature.
There are growing signs of discontent, with Rashford reportedly saying his coach had “gone mad,” hinting that ten Hag may be losing control in the dressing room.
Manchester United currently sits 12th in the Premier League after eight matches, trailing Liverpool by 10 points. The team’s dismal total of seven goals so far is only better than three of the bottom four teams in the league.
With United’s struggles, it’s no surprise that top European clubs have shown interest in Rashford. TeamTalk reports that Bayern Munich and Marseille are considering moves for him in January, following earlier interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
Although Rashford has been a key figure at the club with over 400 appearances, his recent performances have faltered. Unless a change in management reinvigorates his career at United, a move abroad seems increasingly likely.
It remains uncertain whether Manchester United would agree to sell Rashford and, if they do, what price they would s
et for him.
