“He had 0 successful dribbles and 7 duels lost” , player faces tough task to impress Rosenior after Charlton performance despite win

Liam Rosenior enjoyed a dream debut as Chelsea manager with a commanding victory over Charlton, though Alejandro Garnacho’s lackluster performance provided a sobering note to an otherwise triumphant evening.
Chelsea brushed aside what could have been a tricky FA Cup third-round tie, cruising to a 5-1 victory at The Valley. While five different players contributed goals, Jorrel Hato’s spectacular strike was undoubtedly the highlight of the match.
Rosenior surprised many by making extensive changes to the side that had fallen to Fulham. Among those recalled was Garnacho, who earned a starting position on the left wing after being left out of the previous two matches against Manchester City and Fulham.
Unfortunately, the Argentine winger failed to seize his opportunity. He was particularly ineffective in the first half, and while he showed some improvement after the break, it remained far from the impact performance he needed.
New managerial appointments typically represent a clean slate for every player in the squad. Garnacho had enjoyed regular minutes under previous boss Enzo Maresca, but his statistics from the Charlton match suggest he faces an uphill battle to win over Rosenior.
The numbers paint a concerning picture. According to FotMob, Garnacho completed zero successful dribbles, registered no shots on target, and was dispossessed in seven separate duels—hardly the kind of output that catches a new manager’s eye.
The big question now is whether Rosenior can unlock the potential of the Argentine international, who arrived from Manchester United in a £40m summer transfer but has struggled to find consistency in a Chelsea shirt.
