Victor Osimhen furious with Napoli over TikTok video which mocked the striker and he is planning on leaving the Club with immediate effect
Victor Osimhen is upset with Napoli for making fun of the striker in a TikTok video.
After the Italian champions Napoli posted a video making fun of the striker’s missed penalty at the weekend, Victor Osimhen became enraged with them.
In an odd video posted on the team’s TikTok account, Napoli displayed footage of Osimhen pleading for a penalty during the scoreless draw with Bologna on Sunday, with a squeaky, sped-up voice overlaid. The Nigerian international then missed the penalty kick in the now-deleted video.

Osimhen also got into an altercation with Napoli head coach Rudi Garcia on the sidelines following his substitution in the dying moments of the scoreless draw with Bologna, which has already dropped the defending Serie A champions seven points behind Inter.
The striker, who in the summer had drawn interest from Manchester United and Chelsea, is claimed to be upset over Napoli’s post and has since removed any images pertaining to the Serie A team from his official Instagram account.
Roberto Calenda, the agent for Osimhen, criticised Napoli’s social media post and vowed to sue the Serie A team.
Calenda declared in a statement on Monday night that “what happened today on Napoli’s official profile on the TikTok platform is not acceptable.”
A video making fun of Victor was initially made public before being deleted, but only today.
“A serious fact that causes the player very serious harm and worsens the treatment the boy has been receiving in the recent period between media trials and false news.”
“We reserve the right to take legal action and any practical step to protect Victor,” the statement reads.
On Wednesday night, Napoli is scheduled to play Udinese, but it is still unknown if Osimhen, who has 26 goals in Serie A last year, will take the pitch.
