Raheem Sterling’s future with England has received major doubts from Gareth Southgate.
In preparation for the forthcoming matches against Australia and Italy, Southgate has omitted Sterling from his most recent Three Lions lineup for the second time in a row. And he has informed the Chelsea star that he is no longer assured to play since there is much stiffer competition for spots.
It’s possible that Sterling had 82 caps and 20 goals for his nation. However, Southgate argues that given the depth of quality at his disposal, this is no longer a significant factor.
