Manchester City Manager Pep Guardiola broke down in tears as another Key City player goes off injured during Match Vs Totheham this last night, a very sad moment for Man City Fans as the injury seems to be a career ending injury
Jeremy Doku may be out for Manchester City’s trip to Aston Villa on Wednesday due to an apparent injury sustained against Tottenham.
On Sunday night, Doku got out to a head start ahead of Jack Grealish and had great success countering Tottenham’s bold attempts. However, after halftime, the Belgian’s impact decreased, and in minute 52, he was taken off the pitch.
The 21-year-old struck a sad figure as he was replaced by Grealish, limping a little as he exited the pitch. On Wednesday, City will play their second of three games in a week at Villa Park as part of a busy Christmas schedule.
Doku was undroppable, according to Roy Keane, who also stated prior to the game that Pep doesn’t play around and isn’t satisfied with what Jack is delivering. Doku is a distinct kind of player who plays well.”
Doku might watch Wednesday’s match on the sidelines with Rodri and Grealish, since the two received their fifth yellow card against Tottenham. On the counterattack, Grealish was deemed to have booted the ball away, stopping a free-kick, and Rodri was booked for taking Pedro Porro down.
While providing analysis at the Etihad, Jamie Carragher expressed worry that City will be without the suspended duo for a challenging match. “You know how tough of a game Aston Villa is even with a full team, now Rodri and Jack Grealish are out,” he stated.
