Chelsea FLOP player has been dropped from International squad and will not play for his country again

Axel Disasi of Chelsea has been dropped by France for their next international matches.

Axel Disasi, 25, was a member of France’s team for the international break in September.

However, the Chelsea center-back has been ruled out of France’s October games against the Netherlands and Scotland.

This afternoon, Les Blues announced their squad announcement on X.

Disasi, who has four senior caps for France, should consider himself fortunate to have been dropped by his country at this time. To be sure, the French have a wealth of defensive talent at their disposal.

Disasi has maintained a very solid start to his Chelsea career.

The centre-back has immediately established himself as a key member of Mauricio Pochettino’s starting lineup, having played every minute thus far.

His style isn’t spectacular, and he doesn’t take excessive risks, so he’s been a pretty steady addition to the backline at Stamford Bridge this season.

Chelsea’s £39 million investment in Disasi is paying off handsomely (Sky Sports).

From a selfish standpoint, the club may be relieved that one of their major starters will escape injury over the international break and will be ready to play in the Premier League games that follow.

If the centre-half continues to play like this, we believe a return to France is still on the cards.
