Mudryk said: ‘Why are you asking for a picture then?’-Mykhailo Mudryk responds to fan who shouts ‘London is Red’ before Chelsea face Arsena

Mykhailo Mudryk answers to a supporter who yells ‘London is Red’ before Chelsea’s match against Arsenal.

Mykhailo Mudryk has responded to a fan who yelled ‘London is Red’ at him before Chelsea’s Premier League match against Arsenal on October 21.

The Arsenal-inspired phrase was directed towards Mudryk as he boarded a squad bus while on international duty with Ukraine.

Mudryk was on the point of joining Arsenal before deciding to join Chelsea in January, a decision that has since been criticised considering the disparity in fortunes between the two clubs.

The 22-year-old has struggled since joining Chelsea for £88.5 million, collecting just one goal and two assists in 25 games.

Mudryk’s poor form has led to him being mocked even more for snubbing Arsenal, and a video of Gunners fans approaching the player in his car went viral in August.

Mudryk Arsenal, Arsenal bro,’ one of the video’s viewers stated. ‘This is your dream team. Come on, you could have won the Premier League if you had played.’

Mudryk was attacked again on Thursday as a supporter yelled ‘London is Red’ at him, referring to Chelsea’s impending match against Arsenal after the international break.

The fan had asked Mudryk for a selfie before making the statement about Arsenal, to which the winger retorted, ‘Why are you asking for a picture then?’

During Chelsea’s 3-1 loss to Arsenal last season, a green laser shined in Mudryk’s eyes.

He will be out for vengeance after scoring in Chelsea’s previous triumph over west London rivals Fulham, with the Blues hoping to make it three consecutive top-flight victories.

Arsenal, on the other hand, has been unbeaten in their first eight Premier League games and is second in the table after defeating Manchester City on Sunday.
