Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich was to sign formidable’ Manchester City FLOP Player who have started Zero games this season

Even though Kelvin Phillips is having a hard time getting playing time at Manchester City right now, it looks like the England international player has a lot of fans.

This is what 90min says; they say that Aston Villa is one of the teams interested in the former Leeds United midfielder.

Anyway, 90min says that Aston Villa wants to sign Kalvin Phillips from Manchester City.

Phillips isn’t very important to Pep Guardiola’s team, as we all know.

The 27-year-old midfielder was signed by Manchester City in the summer of 2022 and was called “a formidable talent” with “fantastic ability and quality” by the club’s Director of Football, Txiki Begiristain. However, the manager has ignored him even though Rodri is suspended.

That’s all Phillips has played in the Premier League this season.

The midfielder only started two league games for City last year.

Bayern Munich has reportedly talked to City about a possible January deal for Phillips, according to 90min.

The news source says that Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur, and West Ham United are also interested in Phillips.

Aston Villa had tried to sign Kalvin Phillips before.
It’s interesting that Aston Villa has been linked with Phillips more than once.

They were really interested in the playmaker in the summer of 2019.

Phillips was in Leeds at the time.

The Telegraph says that in September 2019, Villa put in a bid of £15 million for Phillips.

Leeds said no.

The player then signed a new deal with Leeds and helped the team get promoted to the Premier League.

It looks like Villa wants to sign Phillips again.

It’s possible that Phillips will want to move to Villa Park this time, since he probably won’t do well at City under Guardiola.
