Chelsea still believes in Robert Sanchez despite his obvious talent for errors, according to Teamtalk.
The Blues signed Sanchez from Brighton this summer, just as Kepa Arrizzabalaga completed a season-long loan deal at Real Madrid.
Although Sanchez has had a few good games for Chelsea since his arrival, the Spaniard has made some costly mistakes in goal for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, notably in a 2–2 draw against Arsenal, where his poor passing resulted in Declan Rice’s cross on goal for the Cannoneers.
Some reports suggest that Chelsea are interested in Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsdale, who appears to have lost respect at the Emirates Stadium. The Englishman is currently second choice for Arteta and there are fears he will miss the Euros if he doesn’t play more.
However, Teamtalk affirms that although Chelsea admires Ramsdale, they are willing to give Sanchez at least one season to see action before moving on to another goalkeeper.
This newspaper also claims that Ramsdale, who is valued at £60 million by Arsenal, is not yet ready to leave the club.
