The England stalwart and former Blues great is thinking about returning to MLS in order to achieve this goal.
He played for New York City near the conclusion of his career, so he has experience there. The Athletic (subscription required) reports that he is currently seen as one of the favourites to take over as manager of Charlotte FC.
Though it doesn’t make for interesting reading, Lampard appears eager to try to disprove his detractors once more following some introspection and time away from the pitch. This is his second term as manager of the west Londoners.q
