Ex-Chelsea FLOP Manager Frank Lampard who can’t get hired in the EPL closes in on SHOCK return to management six months after Chelsea job

An ex-Chelsea failure who is poised to try his luck in the Major League Soccer (MLS)?

After a particularly difficult period at a club, in this case Chelsea, you know it’s time to expand your horizons when there are no Premier League suitors for your services.

In fact, it’s thought that Frank Lampard hasn’t had any approaches from English Championship teams either, emphasising his managerial abilities—or lack thereof.

The England stalwart and former Blues great is thinking about returning to MLS in order to achieve this goal.

He played for New York City near the conclusion of his career, so he has experience there. The Athletic (subscription required) reports that he is currently seen as one of the favourites to take over as manager of Charlotte FC.

Though it doesn’t make for interesting reading, Lampard appears eager to try to disprove his detractors once more following some introspection and time away from the pitch. This is his second term as manager of the west Londoners.q
