THREE First Team Chelsea Players has instructed Todd Boehly and Pochettino that the want to Leave Chelsea In January, that Pochettino is not giving them enough playing time

The start of the new year will offer some of Chelsea’s fringe players the chance to leave the club in order to find more game time.

With Chelsea already having quite a few players out on loan, sending certain members of their current squad elsewhere for the rest of the season could prove tricky because of loan rules.

Nevertheless, here are three players the Blues need to find temporary homes for when the January transfer window opens.

Noni Madueke

Chelsea only signed Noni Madueke in the last January transfer window, but the winger has made just one start in the Premier League this season.

With Cole Palmer, 21, and Mykhailo Mudryk, 22, around, he may feel that his pathway is blocked and fancy a permanent transfer away from the club.

However, Madueke has so much potential. Frank Lampard described him as a “clear talent” when speaking to Chelsea’s official club website about him last term.

If the Blues can, they have to loan the 21-year-old out instead of sanctioning a permanent deal.

Armando Broja

Armando Broja should definitely not be at the top of Chelsea’s loan list. And while he is not starting every week, unlike Madueke, he is at least getting quite a bit of game time from off the bench.

However, you have to worry for him if the club bring in a new centre-forward. The Albania international is already behind Nicolas Jackson in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.

Should a Victor Osimhen or an Ivan Toney join the Blues, for example, then it probably would be best for Broja to head out on loan.

Lesley Ugochukwu

Most people probably would have expected Lesley Ugochukwu to go out on loan straight away after he arrived at Chelsea from Rennes in the summer, with the Frenchman being a teenager who had never played in the Premier League before.

That did not happen, though, and it was probably for the best in the end after Romeo Lavia’s injury.

However, now he is back, Mauricio Pochettino has the Belgian, Moises Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez, Conor Gallagher and Ugochukwu competing for potentially two spots.

With that in mind, Ugochukwu may have to join another outfit if he wants game time in the second half of the season.
