“I don’t like to talk about Manchester City but i must say this, the way Manchester City is treating my country man is not right”- Real Madrid Star Jude Bellingham reveals his £45M City countryman is very angry and frustrated with Pep Guardiola Not Phil Foden, Not Kelvin Phillips

There have apparently been discussions between Juventus and Manchester City regarding a possible loan agreement for Kalvin Phillips.

During the previous summer transfer window, the midfielder was linked to a move away from the Manchester United, but he ultimately decided to stay and compete for a spot in Pep Guardiola’s squad.

Though Phillips stated his goal was to play regular games before the Euros, the manager’s recent admission that he finds it difficult to picture the Englishman in his ideal City team has made a January departure seem likely.

One team has taken the initial move to attempt and recruit the England international now that the January transfer window is almost here.

Juventus begins negotiating Phillips’ loan.

Nicolo Fagioli is suspended till the end of the season for breaking betting regulations, and Paul Pogba is facing a four-year suspension for testing positive for a prohibited substance. These developments have led to reports from The Times that Juventus is trying to recruit Phillips on loan.

ADVANCED CITY STORIES
In order to play regular first-team games and improve his chances of being selected in the England squad for the European Championship finals in the summer, Phillips “wants to leave City in the January transfer window,” the story continues.

Prior to this weekend’s Premier League game against Sheffield United, Phillips had made just 31 appearances overall across all competitions since moving to Manchester from Leeds United in a move valued at £45 million back in 2022.

It’s understandable why the midfield player would be eager to leave City in January given that he has only started two games this season, particularly to a prestigious team like Juventus that would be able to provide him with more consistent playing time than the Citizens.
