Conor Gallagher will become the most HATED player after he’s set to complete shock transfer to Premier League Rivals this afternoon!

Conor Gallagher, a midfielder for Chelsea, has hinted subtly about his future at the club despite being linked to a £40 million transfer to rival Tottenham during the January transfer window.

The Blues star, named acting captain by manager Mauricio Pochettino, has already contributed four goals in 23 games this 2023–24 season. However, despite his reliability in the middle of the park, Gallagher’s future at Stamford Bridge is still being discussed, with rumours circulating that Spurs, Newcastle United, and West Ham are among the teams interested.

football.london is aware of Gallagher’s past wish to remain at Stamford Bridge is evident, even if Spurs and Chelsea are not currently in talks over a deal. After the international break and his England call-up, Gallagher stated, “Training and playing alongside midfielders worth 100 plus million pounds is good and shows where I’m at as well,” in response to a question last month regarding his future. So maybe I can keep playing as many games as I can and keep performing well.

“I’m confident that his contract will be resolved; after all, Chelsea is my team, and I enjoy playing for them. I’m in love right now, and the fans are amazing. I have no doubt that things will work themselves out.

“It was a crazy period in terms of ins and outs at Chelsea in the summer and I had conversations with the manager and he expressed that he liked me as a player and I was in his plans and I was really happy with that.”

Even Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has defended the England international in an attempt to keep him at SW6, but he has acknowledged that the England international’s future at the club is ultimately up to the club. “That is between the club and the player,” he stated.

It’s not my decision, therefore I don’t need to talk too much about it. He is one of the captains and is in the starting lineup for almost every game. He is, in my opinion, the kind of player the team needs.

“His Chelsea values make him significant. He is incredibly dedicated, knows the identity of the club, and is a product of the academy. On the pitch, his running, playing and fighting styles are evident. He is a very vital player who gives it his best. This kind of guy is what every coaching staff desires on their club.”

In Saturday afternoon’s 3-2 victory over Luton Town at Kenilworth Road, the 23-year-old led the Blues for the 14th time in all competitions this season. Pochettino’s team has only lost three of the 12 league games he has worn the armband for. Gallagher has apparently shown a wish to remain with the team outside of interviews, though.
