Chelsea Manager Pochettino broke down in tears as another Key Chelsea player goes off injured during their last match and won’t be available to against Fulham, a very sad moment for Chelsea fans as he seems to be out for 3 months
Good news about Benoit and Chilwell. We need to check on Carney Chukwuemeka to see if he can come in or not. Pochettino said this at his press meeting before the game on Friday when asked about his team.
“But Chilly and Benoit—Chilly, yes—they will definitely be in the team tomorrow.”
“The good news is that Trevoh Chalobah has joined the team and begun working with the group. We will need to see how he can help us right away by evaluating each day.”
He is doing well, though, and it’s good that Trevoh is working with the team again.
“Always make sure that important players can be involved when you get back players.”
“But I’m a little worried about Nkunku because he hasn’t been able to train for what seems like 10 days now and we’re still evaluating him.”
“We have no idea what will happen.” I am a little worried about Nkunku, but on the other hand, I believe it is good news that players like Chalobah, Chilwell, Badiashile, and Chukwuemeka are so close to being able to play again and help the team do well.
When asked if Nkunku’s setback was worse than first thought, Pochettino said, “I remember my first press conference after he had a small problem and then everything got complicated.”
Now, I think it’s been almost 10 days since he last trained—eight or ten days. We had been waiting for him for six months, and he finally started against Palace when he was so close to being ready.
“Of course that makes me sad and a little worried, because I think we want him to be involved again as soon as possible.”
