Rasmus Højlund Mocks Aston Villa Fans After They Abuse Him During Game, Douglas Luiz Wasn’t Happy

Rasmus Hojlund, a forward for Manchester United, got into a terrible fight with Douglas Luiz during their 2-1 win over Aston Villa.

Hojlund scored the first goal in the first half. He found room in the area and fired in from close range after Harry Maguire’s header.

Since moving to United for £75 million from Atalanta last summer, the Dane has scored in five straight games in all categories.

Villa got back on track in the second half, and Douglas Luiz tied the game at 67 minutes.

At that point, Unai Emery’s team looked like they would win, but United’s replacement Scott McTominay scored a late header to seal the win.

Hojlund was taken off by boss Erik ten Hag after the goal. As he walked off the pitch, the Aston Villa fans booed him.

As a reaction, the 21-year-old held up both hands to show the Villans fans “2-1” and then told them to calm down.

Luiz, who scored another goal, didn’t like that and approached Hojlund as he walked to the bench. The Brazilian then grabbed the shirt of the United forward.

After 24 games, United moved within five points of their fifth-placed opponents and six points behind fourth-placed Tottenham. However, the Dane came out on top.

McTominay, who scored the winning goal, told Sky Sports after the game, “It was a credit to the lads at the back who were immense, especially Harry and Raphael.” They played at a very high level and earned to win in the end.

“I know I can do well on the pitch as long as I’m fit and healthy.” Being out of the game right now doesn’t bother me too much; I just want to come on and do my best for this club, as I always have.

“Full credit to the boys attacking-wise as well, we created some good chances which I thought went unnoticed.”
