Saudi Pro League clubs are interested in recruiting Manchester City star Kevin de Bruyne during the upcoming summer transfer window, according to Football Insider.

In 2015, De Bruyne joined City from Bundesliga club Wolfsburg for a reported cost of £54 million. Since then, the Belgian midfielder has emerged as a key player for Pep Guardiola’s team. The 32-year-old has made 369 appearances for Manchester City, scoring 98 goals and providing 165 assists.

Kevin de Bruyne has won five Premier League titles, two FA Cups, a FIFA Club World Cup, and a UEFA Champions League. Last season, he was also chosen captain of the Etihad squad after Ilkay Gundogan left on a free transfer.

Following his great achievements for City, the Belgian has emerged as a prominent transfer target for Saudi Arabian clubs. According to the aforementioned source, Saudi Pro League clubs are willing to offer more than £100 million for De Bruyne during the forthcoming summer transfer season.

Last season, Riyad Mahrez and Aymeric Laporte left the English champions for the Middle Eastern League. Mahrez joined Al-Ahli for a reported fee of £35 million, while Laporte signed Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr for £21 million.

Kyle Walker, a Manchester City defender, does not want Arsenal to win the Premier League because of his relationship to fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Walker spent eight years with Tottenham, making 227 appearances, before joining the Etihad in July 2017. During a recent Vibe with Five conversation with Rio Ferdinand, Walker was asked about Arsenal’s recent progress and whether the club can win the league this season. He said (per The Athletic):

“It’s very hard. I do not want Arsenal to win because of Tottenham. I believe Arsenal’s manager is our assistant coach, Arteta. You have (Oleksandr) Zinchenko, who I believe is a huge part of it, and Gabriel Jesus. But I’ll give them credit. They’re a pretty good squad currently.”
Arsenal are now third in the Premier League with 61 points from 27 games, one point behind Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City (62) and two behind champions Liverpool (63).
