Manchester United Manager Erig Ten Hag broke down in tears as another Key Manchester United player goes off injured during International break training this morning, a very sad moment for Man U fans as the injury seems to be a career ending injury

Luke Shaw, a defender for Manchester United, has joined up with England to continue his recovery from a muscle injury.

Shaw strained his muscles again during the victory over Luton Town last month, and it was determined that he might miss the rest of the season due to the injury.

Luke Shaw will be sidelined for an extended length of time due to a muscular injury, according to a brief statement released by United. We anticipate that he will be gone for several months, but more testing is required to ascertain the severity.”

Shaw’s injury prevented him from being included in the England squad for the international break, but he can still be involved because he was invited to St. George’s Park to complete his recuperation near the England camp. Shaw started his recovery at Carrington.

For the most part of Gareth Southgate’s tenure as England manager, the defender has started at left-back initially, and he netted the game’s lone goal for the Three Lions in the Euro 2020 championship.

When asked if Shaw had any chance of making the England team for the Euros in Germany this summer, Southgate responded as follows to a question on BBC Radio 5 Live: “Well, based on the timeframes, it appears like he will only be accessible in the last moments of the season, so the answer to that would have to be yes. You have no idea the version of the player you will receive.

Southgate also discussed the physical demands of competing in a major competition such as the European Championship. He stated: “Obviously, one of the great lessons we’ve been able to learn in two of the three tournaments we’ve played in is that, heading into a seven-game tournament, we’ve played all seven matches and the physical demands that that brings are notable.”

“We might have everybody that’s currently injured back and available but how fit and how match fit and how robust to get through a tournament, we’re going to have to work that out as well in the next few months.”

Shaw’s chances of starting for England this summer would rise if his recovery proceeds as planned and he rejoins United before the end of the campaign.

Since making his England debut in 2014, the 28-year-old has amassed 31 senior caps.
