Some fans are in support of this while some are not🙀🙀🙀
Barcelona are reportedly planning an unexpected exchange deal to acquire Manchester United’s young talent, Kobbie Mainoo, this summer.
According to the Spanish source Nacional, Barcelona’s new manager Hansi Flick is eager to add the promising midfielder to his team. The club is keen to part ways with Raphinha but has had difficulty attracting buyers for the Brazilian international. As a result, the report indicates that Barcelona is proposing to trade Raphinha along with £8.5 million (€10 million) to secure Mainoo from Manchester United.
In April, Sport noted that Barcelona turned down a €60 million offer from a Premier League club for Raphinha, who previously played for Leeds United, as they rate him at £68 million (€80 million). Now, they are willing to include the £68 million-rated winger in a deal, plus an additional fee, to obtain Mainoo, who is currently seen as one of the top central midfielders in United’s lineup.
Kobbie Mainoo scored the winning goal against Manchester City to secure the FA Cup for Erik ten Hag’s side and is regarded as a crucial player for the club’s future. Manchester United is prepared to offer the 19-year-old a substantial new contract, but he wants to focus on the European Championships with England first, as reported by The Star.
Although Raphinha could significantly enhance the team over players like Antony, Greenwood, and Sancho, Manchester United supporters would likely be very upset if Mainoo were transferred to Barcelona.
