THREE CHELSEA Flops has left Stamford Bridge to Morning to Join Premier League Giants as Boehly plans take shape

There has been a great deal of turmoil at Chelsea over the past two years; just a few of the players that left Stamford Bridge last summer were N’Golo Kante, Christian Pulisic, Kai Havertz, Mason Mount, Mateo Kovacic, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. The Blues went from finishing in 10th place in 2023 to sixth position last season, so it’s not like the massive turnover in the playing staff has resulted in much progress.
Although there is still a chance for significant changes this season, just a handful of players have been officially announced as departing the team this summer. Not simply in terms of his on-field appearances, the first one will undoubtedly leave a significant vacuum in the team.
Thiago Silva had announced his departure from West London to return to Brazil, where he would rejoin Fluminense, the team he played for a few years prior to moving to Milan in 2009. The news reached us back in May. Silva had an excellent season last year, especially considering that the defense’s injury troubles prevented him from playing as much football as he did.
It’s a testament to his professionalism that he handled the demands of the game so well, and it will be sad to see the guy who captained Chelsea several times go from the changing room.
The youth right-backs Josh Brooking and Noah Hay have also announced their departure, with their contracts ending today, making the Champions League champion one of just three players to have left thus far.
However, there are still a number of departures that might occur in the upcoming weeks. Many clubs are interested in players like Conor Gallagher and Trevoh Chalobah. Gallagher has one year left on his contract, so it will likely be decided whether to sell him or give him a new contract. The club is also unlikely to let him go on a free transfer.
