RUTHLESS DECISION FROM AMORIM 🚨 Erik ten Hag loved him and so do Man United fans, but Ruben Amorim has seen enough after two days and he’s out in January

New Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has reportedly decided to part ways with a player after managing just two matches with the team.
Amorim, who oversaw a 1-1 Premier League draw against Ipswich and a 3-2 Europa League win over Bodo/Glimt, has acknowledged areas needing improvement while commending his squad’s determination and effort to adapt to his methods.
Notable performances from players like Amad Diallo, Noussair Mazraoui, and Rasmus Hojlund have impressed the Portuguese coach. However, due to financial constraints, Amorim may need to work with his current squad until the season concludes.
According to a report by The Athletic, Manchester United is close to its Financial Fair Play (FFP) limit following the departure of Erik ten Hag and Amorim’s appointment. To generate funds, Amorim is expected to approve player sales, with one key decision already made.
As reported by Sky Sports Germany, United has no plans to renew Christian Eriksen’s contract, which expires next summer. Instead, the club intends to sell the 32-year-old midfielder during the January transfer window to recoup a small fee. Scottish champions Celtic have reportedly shown interest.
Celtic, currently competing in the Champions League, could extend their European campaign into February if they advance beyond the group stage. However, Eriksen’s significant wage—reportedly £150,000 per week, quadruple the earnings of Celtic’s top earner Callum McGregor—could complicate the deal.
A loan move, with United subsidizing part of Eriksen’s wages, is considered a potential solution. While Premier League rules prohibit loaning out players whose contracts expire at the season’s end, Scottish regulations differ, allowing for such arrangements due to their contracts traditionally ending on May 31 rather th
an June 30.
