Manchester United Vows to Outshine Barcelona and Real Madrid in Transfer Battle! 🚨 Manchester United is gearing up to outmaneuver Barcelona and Real Madrid in the race to bring back Alvaro Fernandez from Benfica! 🔥🔴 They’re ready to activate their buy-back clause and make their move soon. 💪⚽ It’s a fierce contest, but United is confident of beating their Spanish rivals! 👊

Manchester United is reportedly leading the pursuit to bring back 21-year-old defender Alvaro Fernandez from Benfica, leveraging a buy-back clause that gives them an advantage over Real Madrid and Barcelona. Fernandez, originally from Real Madrid’s youth academy, joined Manchester United in 2020 but didn’t secure a spot in the first team. After a loan spell with Benfica, he was sold to the Portuguese club last summer.

This season, Fernandez has been a standout for Benfica, with nine appearances across all competitions, including the Champions League, attracting attention from major European teams like Real Madrid and Barcelona.

However, Manchester United has a key advantage thanks to the buy-back clause they included in the transfer deal, which allows them to re-sign the young left-back.

Given the Red Devils’ current issues at left-back, with long-term injuries to Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, they may activate this clause next summer to secure a long-term solution to their defensive problems.

Fernandez’s rise comes after a loan spell at Preston North End in the 2022-23 season. Although he struggled during a loan at Granada, his form has significantly improved at Benfica, making him a sought-after prospect in the transfer market.

As Manchester United looks to strengthen their options on the left side of defense, re-signing Fernandez could offer a stable and long-term solution. While the club has also been linked to Chelsea’s Ben Chilwell, Fernandez’s return might be seen as a more affordable and promising alternative.

With increasing competition for his signature, Manchester United is in a strong position to bring Fernandez back to Old Trafford, addressing their urgent defen

sive needs.
