He said, “Let me tell you something—with him in this team, Liverpool are going NOWHERE! He’s an absolute disaster! how can anyone still defend this guy? Get him out of my club. He was a horrible scene to watch yesterday he should leave ASAP😡😱🙀

Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has come under fire from Roy Keane following his defensive struggles in a 2-2 draw against Manchester United at Anfield.

The match was an electrifying contest, with the first half showcasing United’s disciplined defense that stifled Liverpool’s potent attack while creating dangerous counterattacks.

In the second half, the game became more open, with opportunities for both sides. United broke the deadlock in the 52nd minute when Lisandro Martinez found the net after a Bruno Fernandes assist. Alexander-Arnold played a key role in the mistake, losing possession in the buildup to the goal.

Liverpool quickly leveled through Cody Gakpo, whose brilliant finish left Matthijs de Ligt outplayed. The Reds took the lead in the 70th minute as Mohamed Salah converted a penalty.

However, Liverpool’s hopes for victory were dashed late in the match. Alejandro Garnacho delivered a cross that found Amad Diallo, who scored to equalize. Once again, Alexander-Arnold was caught out of position during the decisive moment.

The right-back, who has been linked with a possible departure from Liverpool at the end of the season, endured a tough game, with United exploiting his defensive weaknesses throughout. In the first half, he was repeatedly exposed, adding to Liverpool’s vulnerability on his side of the pitch.

At halftime, Roy Keane didn’t hold back on Sky Sports, harshly criticizing Alexander-Arnold’s performance:

“Defensively, Trent Alexander-Arnold has been all over the place. His defending has been like something you’d see in schoolboy football. He needs to step up.

“There’s talk about him going to Real Madrid. With this kind of defending, he’d be lucky to end up at Tranmere Rovers. He ha

s to improve.”
