Brentford Striker Ivan Toney is set to leave Brentford in January and join this Premier League Club
Ivan Toney is reportedly a target for Chelsea, Arsenal, and Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window, with Brentford reportedly demanding at least £60 million for the transaction.
Due to a gambling rule violation, Toney is now suspended from football. However, he has returned to training and will be eligible to play again in January.
The player apparently wants to leave Brentford, and according to the Mirror, Arsenal would have most likely made a summer offer if Toney hadn’t been suspended.
Toney is “100%” leaving Brentford in 2024, according to Fabrizio Romano; the only question is which team he’ll join.
most recent news and injury reports for Arsenal
Toney reportedly told his new agent in August that getting a transfer to Arsenal was his primary aim, according to football insider website Team News and Ticks.
Toney changed agencies earlier this year and joined CAA Stellar Group, another indication that he is actively seeking a transfer.
However, at this point, none of the stories make it clear whether or not Arsenal has actually spoken with Toney or Brentford.
Before his suspension, Toney scored 20 goals in 33 Premier League outings for Brentford.
The 27-year-old was in the best shape of his career, and despite playing sparingly recently, he will be hoping that a prestigious club will be ready to take a risk on him in the forthcoming window.
