Huge news has been announced on Kylian Mbappe’s move to Liverpool in the summer Just when we thought it is all over šŸ¤Æ

Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has confirmed the club’s plans to be active in the upcoming summer transfer window, amidst rumors linking them to Liverpool’s Luis Diaz.

Reports from late last season hinted that the Colombian international could make a surprise move to Paris. Diaz, currently contracted with Liverpool until 2027, is one of several players speculated to leave the club during a summer of significant changes.

PSG is on the hunt for a new left-sided forward following Kylian Mbappe’s announcement of his departure. Mbappe, who played his final game for PSG in the Coupe de France victory over Lyon, is expected to join Real Madrid.

Although Bradley Barcola has filled in for Mbappe towards the end of the season, PSG is likely to seek another wide attacker. After the 2-1 win against Lyon, Enrique discussed the plans for the next season without Mbappe.

ā€œI was fortunate to coach Kylian this season. Itā€™s been tough for him after seven years at the club and all he has achieved. Itā€™s hard to say goodbye,ā€ Enrique said. ā€œThere is no substitute for Mbappe.

We canā€™t replace him directly, but we will through the team and by making four, five, or six signings. Kylianā€™s replacement will be the collective effort of the team, our fans, and our ambition to win everything in the coming seasons.ā€

Meanwhile, Diaz has recently addressed the rumors regarding his future. After being named Liverpoolā€™s player of the month for April, Diaz reflected on his growth at the club.

ā€œFrom the start of my career to now, I feel that with each passing day and year, and through each experience with different teams, coming to this great club that is Liverpool has taught me a lot.

ā€œYou learn more and more to be a professional, to be a better person, a good teammate, and a good guy. Iā€™m very happy to be here. Great years are coming for the club, I have no doubt about that.

ā€œPersonally, I will always try to do my best, give 100 percent, and always stand out on the field, which is what I came here to do. Iā€™m always grateful to God for every opportunity.ā€
